i smell coffee at My Little Cup Brussels
It was an unexpected when I find this little place, My Little Cup – coffee corner. Well, I don’t know Brussels, but I like to stroll and explore the city. It’s only 8 minutes walking from the central station towards Madou. I found it when I was searching for the wooden art trees installation of Arne Quinze (2008-2013).
Since then, My Little Cup becomes one of my favorite coffee places in Brussels. A fresh quote about coffee on the blackboard outside always welcomes you to the shop. This place is decorated with modern furniture, white, black and blue. Of course their specialty is coffee, which they get it from Belleville – French coffee beans. A professional barista will server your coffee from a Kees van der Westen – which has the boiler of La Marzocco. Some fresh pastries, cakes and croissants, could accompany your order. The coffee is perfect. The one with milk has blended well without disappearing the coffee taste.
Following the early busy time in Brussels, this place starts from 7:30 on the working days and from 10:00 on lazy Saturday. In the morning you will find a crowd of customers, but I always can find the place. Two benches outside are also available. Here, customers more likely to chat or just to read newspaper before continuing their activities (the owner has discontinued the free wi-fi).
